The Volunteer Action Center (VAC) is designed to assist students and student organizations with finding volunteer opportunities within the Washington and Benton County areas. The VAC seeks to engage and inspire students through volunteer experiences for the enhancement of their overall educational learning while providing awareness, support, and access to service opportunities.
Who Coordinates the Service Programs?
A group of student leaders who are passionate about service and being responsible citizen serve as VAC Program Coordinators. These students plan and coordinate the various established service programs and activities of the Volunteer Action Center and work with various community agencies/organizations as requested. The Program Coordinators also manage a volunteerism listserv that provides updates and notification of volunteerism opportunities.
