RSO Awards

TIME to RECONGIZE! The annual Student Involvement Awards Banquet will take place on Tuesday April 15th @ 6:00pm in the Union Ballroom.  There are several awards given out at the banquet many of which are specific to RSOs.  Below is a list of RSO Awards that will be given out at the banquet:

  • Outstanding RSO
  • Outstanding New RSO
  • Outstanding Program
  • Outstanding RSO Advisor
  • Outstanding RSO Member/ Officer
  • Outstanding Service Project
  • Outstanding Collaborative Program

Office Space Applications Available

Is your RSO interested in an Office Space in the Union?  Both secured and non-secured spaces are available.  These office spaces come with a phone and computer.  Since there is a limited number of office spaces, you must apply for a space. Office spaces are only allocated on an yearly basis, so if you currently have a space you must re-apply for a space. Applications are available below and please read the instructions carefully. Each RSO applying must submit one electronic copy to auac@uark.edu and 3 "hard" typed copies to Campus Life Center (AU A6658). Applications are due by 12:00pm on March 28th.

Office Space Application

 

New RSO Online Database

Due to recent server upgrades and updates we had to get a new online database. We are working to make it easy to use for you and your organization, so please be patient as we work through everything. The database can be accessed on our homepage at or at the following link. Log on using your username and password and it should take to your organization. If you would like your advisor to have the ability to request checks the president or treasurer needs to send an email to Dayna Wolek at dwolek@uark.edu.

 

Officer Transition Checklist

If your RSO has recently elected new officers, please update those through the RSO online database. In addition, we have created an Officer Transition Checklist to assist you with your transition.

 

RSO Re-registration

RSO Re-registration for 2008-2009 will begin on Monday, March 24th. For more information and resources click here.

 

ASG Spring Funding Rounds

ASG will be conducting a small funding round in February in order to allocate those funds that went unspent in the fall semester. If your RSO missed the October funding rounds, then this is a great time to try and get some special events or conferences funded for the spring 2008 semester (please note that the fall 2008 funding taking place in April).
